  • BHM CPA Group, Inc. is looking for a qualified individual to join our Business Accounting Services group. Our dedication to fundamental values such as professionalism, quality and relationships results in our ability to provide outstanding service to our clients. The founding principle of BHM is to provide our clients with more than just financial statements and tax returns - our goal is to become a trusted business advisor, assisting our clients with all aspects of their business.

    The successful candidate will be highly motivated, hold an associate’s degree in business or equivalent experience in A/R or A/P, experience working with small businesses, thrive in a multi-tasking and deadline driven environment, be well organized and detail oriented. They should possess knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Quickbooks online (knowledge of other small business accounting software and Point of Sale software a plus).

    Qualifications:

    •   Bookkeeping/accounting experience.
      Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.

    •   Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

    •   Must be comfortable working with multiple clients and industries.

    •   Must be an independent worker with exceptional attention to detail who can also work

      with a team.

    •   Ability to multitask and be flexible.

    •   Must have a positive and professional attitude and demeanor.

      Key Responsibilities:

    •   Data entry for revenue and expenses.

    •   Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes.

    •   Analyze client control process and offer solutions for efficiency/compliance.

    •   Ensure client and firm information is protected and its confidentiality is secure.

    •   Ensure clients are serviced in a punctual, professional and time sensitive manner.

    SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

    BHM CPA Group, Inc. is looking for a qualified individual to join our Business Accounting Services group. Our dedication to fundamental values such as professionalism, quality and relationships results in our ability to provide outstanding service to our clients. The founding principle of BHM is to provide our clients with more than just financial statements and tax returns - our goal is to become a trusted business advisor, assisting our clients with all aspects of their business.

    The successful candidate will be highly motivated, hold an accounting degree with 5 or more years of progressive experience or equivalent experience working with small businesses, thrive in a multi-tasking and deadline driven environment, be well organized and detail oriented. They should possess extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office and Quickbooks online (knowledge of other small business accounting software and Point of Sale software a plus).

    Qualifications:

    •   5+ years of full-charge Bookkeeping/Accounting experience.

    •   Accounting degree.

    •   Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.

    •   Strong technical ability and software proficiency.

    •   Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

    •   Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

    •   Must be comfortable working with multiple clients and industries.

    •   Must be an independent worker with exceptional attention to detail who can also work

      with a team.

    •   Ability to multitask and be flexible.

    •   Must have a positive and professional attitude and demeanor.

      Key Responsibilities:

    •   Collect, analyze, summarize, journalize and reconcile general ledger account information for multiple clients.

    •   Conduct month-end and year-end close processes.

    •   Prepare financial statements according to established timeline.

    •   Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.

    •   At year end, prepare compilation and/or tax work papers.

    •   Analyze client control process and offer solutions for efficiency/compliance.

    •   Ensure client and firm information is protected and its confidentiality is secure.

      Ensure clients are serviced in a punctual, professional and time sensitive manner.
